Introduction to ferrosilicon particles

The ferrosilicon particle inoculant is formed by crushing ferrosilicon into small pieces of a certain proportion and filtering through a certain number of sieves. The small particles that are crushed and screened out with different particle sizes.

Supply size of ferrosilicon particles: 0.2-1mm, 1-3mm, 3-8mm, or customized according to customer requirements;

The amount of use should be determined according to the actual situation, which has a great relationship with the conditions of the primary iron and the molten iron after melting, and should be adjusted according to the actual situation.

In general, the addition amount of gray cast iron ferrosilicon particles is 0.2~0.5%;

For nodular cast iron, the general adding amount of ferrosilicon particles is 0.5~1.1%;

For cast iron horizontal continuous casting ductile iron, the general addition amount of ferrosilicon particles is 0.8~1.5%.
