Description

Ferro Silicon (FeSi) is a kind of ferro alloy which composed of iron and silicon. It is made by electric furnace with the raw materials coke, quartz (or silica) and iron scrap.

Application
1.Because silicon and oxygen are easily compound into SiO₂ , ferro silicon is often used as deoxidizer in steel making.

2. Ferro silicon (FeSi) can also be used as alloy elements join agent, which is widely used in low alloy steel,

non-ferrous metal, bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.

3. Ferro silicon (FeSi) can be used as a reductant in ferro alloy(SiMn) production and chemical industry.
4. In iron industry, ferro silicon can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.

Size

0-3mm, 3-10mm, 10-50mm, 50-100mm or as customers' requirements.
