Product Description

The main raw materials of metal silicon are silica, petroleum coke, wood chips, etc., which are smelted by electric furnace and classified according to trace elements. The main purpose is to produce aluminum ingots and aluminum products, which are alloying agents (hardeners) in iron and aluminum.

Metallic silicon is also important to the electronics industry because it is the base material used to make high purity polysilicon. These products are used in the manufacture of semiconductors, microchips for computers, and solar cells for capturing electrical energy from the sun.
