Ferro Chrome / FeCr is an ferro alloy of chromium and iron, containing 50% to 70% chromium. The Ferro Chrome is produced by electric arc melting of chromite, an iron magnesium chromium oxide and the most important chromium ore. It can divide into Charge FeCr, Carbon FeCr, Low Carbon FeCr and Micro Carbon FeCr.

 

Application:

 

1.Low Carbon Ferro Chrome mainly used to produce stainless steel, acid-resistant steel and heat-resistant steel.

2.Ferro Chrome mainly used as steel making alloying additives, used in steel making refining later joined.

3.Ferro Chrome can used as alloy agent to improve the hardenability of steel and increase the wear resistance and hardness of steel.

4.Ferro Chrome used as the additive of cast iron to improve the abrasion resistance and hardness of cast iron.
